Design and Alignment Options

The information in these information sheets was correct at the time of publication and has been retained without change as a record of processes for the project development phase of the Roe Highway Extension. Some of the information may be superseded by more recent documents, including the project’s Public Environmental Review document.

After nearly two years of community and stakeholder input and intense design work, the preferred concept design for the proposed Roe Highway Extension has now been identified.

Click here to view the preferred concept design and an accompanying brochure.

Please see the information below on the community and stakeholder engagement process that was undertaken for the selection of the preferred concept design.

Designs for the Roe Highway Extension were considered in three parts:
  1. Section One:  Kwinana Freeway to Bibra Drive (indicated by yellow box in map below)
  2. Section Two: Stock Road to North Lake Road (indicated by green box in map below)
  3. Section Three: North Lake Road to Bibra Drive (indicated by red box in map below).

Community members were invited to participate in a series of workshops to discuss and determine the preferred design and alignment for each of these three sections.  Click here for more details about these workshops.
