A fly-through animation of the proposed Roe Highway Extension is now available for viewing on this website. The fly-through animation was launched at South Metro Connect’s final community information day on Saturday 30 July 2011 at the Cockburn Youth Centre. The animation is a 3D visualisation of the preferred concept design, which was identified in collaboration with the community and stakeholders.

The display materials from the community information day are available for download. A number of information sheets were also available on the day, including the most recent Information Sheet 18, relating to proposed noise management for the Roe Highway Extension.

The aim of the community information day was to provide an opportunity to seek information from the project team on the preferred concept design for the proposed Roe Highway Extension, and the Public Environmental Review (PER) document, to assist people with their submissions to the Environmental Protection Authority (EPA).

The community information day marked the successful completion of a two-year intensive engagement process with members of the community and stakeholders, who contributed substantially to both the preferred concept design and the PER document. The public comment period for the PER document closes on Monday 12 September, should you wish to provide a formal submission to the EPA.

The team at South Metro Connect would like to thank those who attended the community information day.
