Design Workshop Two: Stock Road to North Lake Road
South Metro Connect is holding the second of a series of three design workshops on Tuesday 4 May at the Cockburn Youth Centre, 25 Wentworth Parade, Cockburn Central. You are invited to attend either a morning or evening session, the times are:
- Morning session: 9.00 am – 1.00 pm or
- Evening session: 5.00 pm – 9.00 pm
This workshop will focus on the section of Roe Highway Extension from Stock Road to North Lake Road. We are seeking your involvement to assist us to identify community needs and opportunities that can be incorporated into the road design. Participants will have the opportunity to learn more about the project, to meet with other stakeholders and community members and discuss design issues with technical specialists.
Both the morning and evening session will begin with an introduction and information segment that will provide participants with background information to make their participation in the workshop easier. Following this segment, you will be able to choose between a structured or unstructured workshop format. The unstructured format, also called Open Space, will enable participants to choose the topics they wish to discuss. There will be no topic restrictions.
The structured forum will be a combination of set topics and group generated topics to be discussed at facilitated tables.
To participate in the workshop please call us on 1800 132 572 to register. If you are unable to commit to the entire workshop, the Open Space format can accommodate people with time constraints. It would, however, be beneficial for all participants to attend the information segment at the start of either the morning or evening workshop. Observers are also welcome.
