The South Metro Connect team held two focus groups with stakeholders and members of the community to discuss environmental values and other project related matters. The minutes from these meetings are displayed below.  To view the comments recorded during the design workshops please click here.

 
Environmental Scoping Document Focus Group - 24 September 2009

South Metro Connect held two focus groups on 24 September 2009 targeted at gaining input into the Environmental Scoping Document for the proposal. 

Representatives from key environmental and other stakeholder groups, relevant government agencies, and interested individuals who appealed against the level of assessment set by the EPA were invited to take part. 

The purpose of the focus groups was to identify key factors that the project may impact upon and to gather input into the studies that should be undertaken to achieve a comprehensive assessment of the project’s impacts on the environment.
