The information in these information sheets was correct at the time of publication and has been retained without change as a record of processes for the project development phase of the Roe Highway Extension. Some of the information may be superseded by more recent documents, including the project’s Public Environmental Review document.

South Metro Connect has used existing daily traffic figures and the Main Roads Regional Operations Model (ROM) to produce three traffic modelling maps for the Roe Highway Extension and surrounding road networks. 

The maps depict existing daily traffic figures, forecast figures for 2031 with the Roe Highway Extension and forecast figures for 2031 without the Roe Highway Extension.  Please click on the following links to download PDF versions of the maps:

The modelled forecast volumes have been produced using the Main Roads ROM. It should be recognised that modelling does have limitations and that forecast traffic volumes should be taken as indicative only of the traffic that the respective road links are likely to carry.
